Beefy’s Welsh Walk

Sir Ian Botham OBE has launched ‘Beefy’s Big Welsh Walk,’ to raise money for the NSPCC in Wales.

The NSPCC Appeal aims to raise £3 million over three years to provide support and help to the most vulnerable children and young people across Wales.

Over three days in August, Sir Ian Botham will walk along parts of the Welsh Coastal Path, starting in Burry Port on Tuesday 6 August and finishing in Cardiff Bay on Thursday 8 August.
‘The route we’ve chosen will not disappoint as Wales has some of the most beautiful coastline in the world,’ said Sir Ian Botham.


Registration is £15 for individuals for one day or £25 for a family (two adults, two children).
To celebrate the success of the walk, Sir Ian Botham and Max Boyce  will host, ‘Beefy’s Big Welsh Ball,’ at the Vale Resort on Thursday 8 August.



Mae Syr Ian Botham OBE wedi lansio, 'Taith Gerdded Big Beefy Cymru, sef' er mwyn codi arian ar gyfer yr NSPCC yng Nghymru.

Mae apêl yr NSPCC yn anelu at godi £ 3 miliwn dros dair blynedd i ddarparu cefnogaeth a chymorth i'r plant a'r bobl ifanc mwyaf agored i niwed ledled Cymru.

Dros dri diwrnod ym mis Awst, bydd Syr Ian Botham yn gerdded ar hyd rhannau o Lwybr Arfordir Cymru, gan ddechrau ym Mhorth Tywyn ar ddydd Mawrth 6 Awst a gorffen ym mae Caerdydd ar ddydd Iau 8 Awst.

'Ni fydd y llwybr rydym wedi dewis yn siomi am fod gan Gymru rai o'r arfordiroedd mwyaf prydferth yn y byd,' meddai Syr Ian Botham.

Mae cofrestru yn £ 15 am unigolion ar gyfer un diwrnod neu £ 25 am deulu (dau oedolyn, dau blentyn).

I ddathlu llwyddiant y daith, bydd Syr Ian Botham a Max Boyce yn cynnal, 'Ball Big Beefy Cymru, sef' yn y Vale Resort ar ddydd Iau 8 Awst.
