Rheilffyrdd Cymunedol yn y Ddinas a Cydweli - Community Rail in the City and Kidwelly

Following our e-mail request for assistance The Heart of Wales Line Forum - our Community Rail Partnership - has had a number of tourism operators offering to help promote Carmarthenshire
and the surrounding area at an event at Paddington Railway station London, on the 15th of May.

Heart of Wales LineThe event is called ' Community Rail in the City' and it will enable us to promote Carmarthenshire to all visitors and commuters passing through the concourse of Paddington Railway station. Having this presence on the concourse normally costs £thousands but by working in partnership with the Heart of Wales Line Forum we are able to access it free of charge. The Forum has even been able to arrange free rail travel courtesy of Arriva and First Great Western!

A group of Kidwelly businesses will also be attending, including their Princess Gwenllian, we have created a specific pop up banner for them to take up to the event promoting the town.

A number of the businesses have provided short break holidays and other offers, to be included in a free prize draw.  So if you’re in Paddington next Wednesday please do remember to call over and
say hi to the team.  You'll easily recognise them as many will be in traditional Welsh Lady costumes, plus a few Welsh dragons and a Knight. Smile nicely at them and they may give you a Welshcake!
